EPSG:4326 (WGS84 lon/lat)
A common coordinate reference system using longitude/latitude on WGS84.
Category: CRS & Coordinates · Also known as: WGS84, WGS 84
Definition (expanded)
EPSG:4326 stores coordinates as longitude (X), latitude (Y) in degrees. Most web mapping and GeoJSON workflows assume EPSG:4326 semantics even if not explicitly stated. Distance and area computations on degrees require care.
